What to include so the first reply is useful
- Your iPhone model and iOS version — Settings → General → About.
- The screen you were on and what you tapped just before the problem.
- For anything about the map: the birth date, time and place you entered, and the topics and period selected, so we can reproduce it.
- For billing: roughly when you purchased. Never send card numbers — we cannot see them and never need them.
Subscription and billing
Money questions first, because they are the urgent ones.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select AstroGeo, then Cancel Subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before the current period ends, otherwise the next period is charged. Cancelling does not remove access straight away — you keep it until the period you paid for runs out.
I deleted the app. Am I still being charged?
Yes, if you have not cancelled. The subscription lives in your Apple Account, not in the app, so removing the app does not stop the renewals. Deleting your account inside the app does not stop them either: that removes your data, not your subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple, not by us — we never receive your payment directly and cannot reverse a charge. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Write to support@astrogeo.app and we will help you put the request together.
I paid but the features are still locked.
Open the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore. That re-checks your purchases with Apple. Two common reasons it fails: you are signed into a different Apple Account than the one that paid, or the purchase sits with another member of your Family Sharing group. If Restore still does not work, email us with the date of the charge.
The map, your data and permissions
Everything else.
The map looks wrong for me.
Check the birth details first — date, time and especially the place, since the app needs the right time zone for that date. An hour of difference moves the lines noticeably. If the details are right and it still looks wrong, email us what you entered and what you expected.
I do not know my exact birth time.
Enter the closest time you have and treat the result as approximate. The lines depend on the moment of birth, so an uncertain time means uncertain positions on the map.
Do I have to allow location access?
No. Location is used to centre the map on where you are and to show which lines fall on your current position. Decline it and you can still search for any city by name. You can change the permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
How do I stop the app from tracking me?
Decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or change the answer later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Nothing else in the app changes. What is collected either way is set out in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account and my data?
In the app, in your account settings, or by writing to privacy@astrogeo.app from the address on the account. That removes your chart, your saved places and the profiles you added for other people. Remember that it does not cancel a subscription.
Does the app tell me where to move?
No. It shows where a chosen influence falls according to astro-geographical tradition and what that influence is usually taken to mean. It is a tool for reflection and trip planning, not advice about health, money, law or where to live.
